UFDA EMERGING LEADER AWARD
Each year the UFDA board selects up-and-coming promising funeral professionals to receive the UFDA Emerging Leader award. We are always looking for nominations from funeral home owners/managers, co-workers and others who notice new funeral professionals going above and beyond to make a difference in the profession.
WHAT ARE THE CRITERIA FOR THE AWARD?
- Licensed funeral director
- Current member of UFDA
- Licensed 5 years or less
HOW MANY ARE SELECTED EACH YEAR?
The UFDA board strives to select up to four individuals to receive the award each year.
HOW ARE THEY RECOGNIZED?
- A member(s) of the UFDA board comes to the funeral home and presents a plaque to recognize the nominee.
- They also receive a free registration to an upcoming Annual Convention or Midwinter Meeting.
- Their achievements are recognized in UFDA’s Post e-newsletter and at UFDA’s Annual Convention.

Contact the UFDA Office, email UFDA or a member of the board at anytime throughout the year.
